Bill Carrick allowed Jim Manning to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
as the Washington Senators defeated the Cleveland Blues by a score of 6 to 3
at American League Park.

Carrick(4-6) delivered a fine performance for Washington.  He surrendered 11
hits and 4 walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 4.46 to 4.17.  Cleveland
out-hit Washington 11 to 8, but Washington ended up with more runs.  

Earl Moore(4-5) took the loss.  He gave up 8 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
