WEB GEMS- Top 6th: Dick Egan robbed Rube Ellis of a base hit.

Miller Huggins had 3 base hits and Nap Rucker pitched a complete game as the
New York-NL Giants beat the Boston-AL Red Sox by a score of 6 to 4.

New York-NL brought 5 runs across the plate in the top of the 4th inning when
they had 5 base hits. The big moment was provided by Ty Cobb who silenced
the crowd when he laced a base-hit bringing home two baserunners. Both
teams' bats went to sleep after the 4th inning with no runs scored after that
point.

Rucker(8-4) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Rube
Peters(1-2) was the loser. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up
11 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
