Ed Morris allowed Columbus' manager to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game and catcher Fred Carroll slammed a homerun and had 4 RBI as the Columbus
Buckeyes topped the Brooklyn Atlantics in 10 innings by a score of 9 to 8 at
Washington Park.

The game was deadlocked at 8 after nine full innings. Columbus won the game in
the 10th inning.  John Richmond reached on an error.  After another out,
Carroll stepped in and he hit a sacrifice fly scoring the run.  Columbus had
a total of 11 hits for the game.  

The win was credited to Morris(10-7) who went the whole way allowing 8 runs.
Adonis Terry(6-8) was the loser.  He gave up 11 hits and 1 walk in 10
innings.
