TEAM RISP- Reds: 6 for 22 Orioles: 3 for 11

Center fielder Bug Holliday had 3 base hits and 4 RBI and Mike Sullivan
completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Cincinnati Reds
topped the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 13 to 7 at Union
Park.

Sullivan(1-1) pitched well enough to earn the win. He was reached for 11 hits
and 6 walks in 9 innings. Cincinnati simply wore out the Baltimore pitching
staff, scoring in 6 different innings.

Bill Hawke(1-2) took the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits and 3 walks
in 7 and 2/3 innings. The Cincinnati ballclub's record now stands at 13-27.
Baltimore will hope that this loss is only a 'blip' on their recent 8-2 run -
and not a start of a new trend.
