Second baseman Sam Wise had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Washington Senators beat
the Louisville Colonels in 11 innings by a score of 10 to 9.

The game was deadlocked at 9 after nine full innings.  Washington was
victorious in the 11th inning.  Dummy Hoy lined a single.  Jim O'Rourke was
next and he banged out a single.  Wise then slapped a single giving
Washington the victory as 1,611 happy fans celebrated wildly.  Washington
finished with 19 hits while Louisville ended up with 12.  

Al Maul(3-9) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Bill Rotes(0-1) was
given the loss.  He gave up 10 runs and 19 hits in 10 innings.
