Canavan had a great day at the plate. He banged out a single in the 4th
inning, belted a three-run homer in the 6th inning, lashed a one-base hit in
the 7th inning and lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 9th inning. It was
roller coaster of a game as the lead change hands 6 times.

hit with the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 12 runs in 9

Canavan was in a good mood after the game, 'I'm just seeing and hitting the
ball real well now. I made some adjustments last week and they are paying
off. That's what this game is about. making adjustments as the season goes
along.'
