Hub Perdue tossed a complete game at Navin Field as the Detroit Tigers beat
the St. Louis-AL Browns 11 to 2.

Detroit brought 5 runs across the plate in the 4th inning when they had 4 base
hits.  It was enough to earn the victory.  Detroit had 15 hits for the
afternoon.  

The win was credited to Perdue(7-5) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Claude Hendrix(3-9) was given the loss.  He was knocked around by Detroit,
allowing 15 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.
