Doby had a big day against New York-AL. He laced a single in the 4th inning,
blasted a solo shot in the 5th inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park
in the 9th inning. New York-AL was out-hit by Cincinnati, 14 hits to 11.
Ned Garver(7-5) allowed 6 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. Jim
