Duke Snider had 2 base hits and 4 RBI as the Chicago-NL Cubs defeated the
Cincinnati Reds 12 to 7 at Wrigely Field.

Chicago-NL drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
with 2 runs.  Danny O'Connell led off and started the attack as he drew a
walk.  After an out was recorded, Don Lenhardt came up and he doubled.
Snider then would ground out which scored a run.  Carl Furillo was up next
and he reached on an error scoring the final run of the inning.  Chicago-NL
had 15 hits for the night while Cincinnati had 9.  

Whitey Ford(6-5) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Ken
Raffensberger(2-6) ended up with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 10
hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
