Frank Owen went the distance as the Detroit Tigers defeated the Boston

The Boston fans didn't appreciate the big day Kid Nance had. He lashed a
single in the 1st inning, slapped a base-hit in the 3rd inning and rifled a
three-run blast in the 9th inning. Detroit had a total of 12 hits for the
