Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Brooklyn Superbas ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless Chicago Cubs.  The Brooklyn offense
rolled up a total of 12 runs!.

Casey Stengel had a big day against Chicago. He tripled in the 1st inning,
tripled plating two runs in the 2nd inning and tripled in the 6th inning.
For the game Brooklyn out-hit Chicago 17 to 9.  

The win was credited to Frank Allen(4-4) who went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 2
runs. Fred Toney(2-4) suffered the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 12 hits
and 6 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
