Ted Kluszewski cracked a homer and had 2 RBI at Crosley Field as the
Cincinnati Reds pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Washington
Nationals by the count of 9 to 8.

Cincinnati erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning when they
scored 5 runs on 5 hits. Cincinnati finished with 12 hits in the victory.

The win was credited to Dave Koslo(2-1) who went 1 inning allowing no runs.
The loss was charged to Harry Byrd(1-6) in relief. By giving up 5 runs in
2/3 of an inning his ERA increased from 2.97 to 3.60.

'Now that is what I call fun! I just love baseball, especially games like
this, of course,' Rob Hickok offered. 'Everyone at the stadium had a great
time - did you see the fans go wild there at the end?!'
