Nap Lajoie launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Cleveland Naps outscored
the Boston Americans in 10 innings 6 to 5.

The score was knotted at 5 after nine innings.  Cleveland ended up winning it
in the 10th inning.  Charlie Hickman doubled.  Jack McCarthy stepped up to
the plate and he lined a single, and an error was also committed, scoring the
run.  Although they lost, Boston did out-hit Cleveland 13 to 8.  

Gus Dorner(1-3) got the win allowing 5 runs in 9 and 1/3 innings. Alex Pearson
gained credit for his 2nd save.  Bill Dinneen(8-4) was the losing pitcher.
He surrendered 6 runs and 8 hits in 9 and 1/3 innings.  

'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Dorner, 'I got burned on
a couple of pitches. But we won the game, and that's all that matters.'
