Roger Bresnahan hit for the cycle and had 3 RBI and Earl Moore went the
distance at Huntington Ave Grnds as the Washington Senators beat the
Boston-AL Americans 8 to 1.

Bresnahan was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine
day at their team's expense.  He laced a base-hit in the 1st inning, tripled
plating two runs in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 5th inning and smashed a
solo-shot out of the park in the 8th inning.  Washington finished with 11
hits in the victory.  

Moore(3-8) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 1 run. Patsy
Flaherty(6-2) was the losing pitcher.  He got hit hard, allowing 9 hits and 3
walks in 6 innings.
