Eddie Robinson had 2 base hits as the Cincinnati Reds pulled out a win over
the New York Yankees by a score of 4 to 3 at Crosley Field.

The deciding run was scored by Cincinnati in the 9th.  Marty Marion lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown' resulting in an exciting win for Cincinnati and a
raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Cincinnati banged out
11 hits on the afternoon.  

Alex Kellner(5-2) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 1 inning. Ted
Gray(3-3) was the losing pitcher in relief.  He was unable to retire a batter
allowing 1 hit and no walks.
