Sam Barkley had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Dave Foutz had a complete game as the St.
Louis Browns smashed the overmatched Brooklyn Grays, 14 to 1.

St. Louis took the lead for good in the top of the 2nd inning when they came
up with 2 runs on 1 hit.  That early scoring held up.  St. Louis simply wore
out the Brooklyn pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings.

Foutz(15-3) allowed 1 run on the game. Phenomenal Smith(0-1) was the losing
