Howie Camnitz whitewashed Brooklyn as the Pittsburg Pirates defeated the
Brooklyn Superbas by a score of 3 to 0 at Washington Park.

Camnitz(10-4) was virtually untouchable.  He surrendered only 5 hits and 2
walks in 9 innings.  Pittsburg had 9 hits for the afternoon.  

Harry McIntire(7-8) was the losing pitcher.  He was the victim of a defensive
lapse and did not allow an earned run in the game.
