TEAM RISP- Superbas: 5 for 14 Reds: 1 for 7

Bill Bergen had 3 base hits and 3 RBI and Nap Rucker was able to finish what
he started and was credited with a complete game as the Brooklyn Superbas
bested the Cincinnati Reds 11 to 3 at Palace of the Fans.

Brooklyn jumped on top to stay in the top of the 2nd inning when they tallied
3 runs on 2 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Bergen who
deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he tripled plating two runs.
Brooklyn kept the pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6
different innings.

Rucker(4-6) got the victory, allowing 3 runs for the game. Bobby Keefe(6-4)
was given the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 13 hits
and 7 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
