Zeke Wilson went the distance and Bobby Wallace had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as
the Cleveland Spiders came back to win one over New York Giants, 5 to
4.

Cleveland had the winning rally in the top of the 9th inning with 3 runs on 4
hits.  Cupid Childs started the inning off right when he doubled.  After an
out was recorded, Wallace stepped in and he doubled which scored a run.
Patsy Tebeau then doubled driving in one more runner.  One out later, Jimmy
McAleer came to bat and hit a single scoring the final run of the inning.
Cleveland had a total of 11 hits for the game.  

Wilson(6-6) allowed 4 runs on the game. The losing pitcher was Mike
Sullivan(1-1).  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 11 hits and 5
walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.  

'I pin this one on my own shoulders,' Sullivan said. 'The bottom line is I
didn't get the job done.  Our fans deserve better than this.'
