Pete Dowling had a complete game and Honus Wagner jacked one out of the
ballyard and had 2 RBI at Robison Field where the Louisville Colonels beat
the St. Louis Browns by the score of 13 to 4.

Louisville jumped on top of St. Louis in the 3rd inning as they scored 2 runs
on 3 base hits.  That early scoring held up.  Offensively, Louisville was a
juggernaut.  They scored in 6 separate innings.  

Dowling(6-7) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. The loss
was charged to George Gillpatrick(0-3).  He had trouble throwing strikes and
issued 10 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.  

Louisville now has a record of 22-32.  With this loss, St. Louis has a 4-6
record of late, 18-33 overall.
