Right fielder Matty McIntyre had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Boston-NL Braves
topped the Brooklyn Dodgers by a score of 11 to 4 at South End
Grounds.

Brooklyn never recovered after Boston-NL took the lead in the bottom of the
4th inning scoring 3 runners on 3 hits.  The key offensive moment was
provided by Hap Myers who brought a roar from the partisan South End Grounds
fans when he doubled which was good for two runs.  For the game Boston-NL
out-hit Brooklyn 19 to 12.  

Cy Barger(8-4) went 5 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Barger was helped
out by Dixie Walker who recorded his 2nd save.  Harry McIntire(1-6) was hit
with the loss.  He was unable to control the Boston-NL offense and allowed 17
hits and 4 walks in 7 innings.
