dramatic comeback over the Washington Senators by a score of 8 to 7 at League
Park.

Cleveland came up with the deciding runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
scoring 2 runs using 2 hits. Harry Bay led off the inning for Cleveland when
he laced a one-base hit. Elmer Flick came to the plate and popped a two-run
clout over the fence giving Cleveland the victory and sending the 851
home-town fans home happy. Cleveland rapped out 12 hits for the afternoon.

Wright(5-5) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 7 runs. Jack
Townsend(5-8) was tagged with the loss. He was unable to control the
Cleveland offense and allowed 12 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.

'Now that is what I call fun! I just love baseball, especially games like
this, of course,' Bill Armour offered. 'Everyone at the stadium had a great
time - did you see the fans go wild there at the end?!'
