Patsy Dougherty had 2 base hits and 3 RBI and Irv Young went the distance as
the seemingly unstoppable New York-NL Giants beat the Boston-AL Americans by
a score of 6 to 2.

New York-NL went ahead for good in the 4th inning when they came up with 2
runs on 2 hits. The big moment was provided by Dougherty who deflated the
mood of the partisan fans when he tripled scoring two baserunners. New
York-NL banged out 9 hits on the afternoon.

The winning pitcher was Young(8-3) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Joe
McGinnity(7-13) took the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 7 hits and 2
walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.

It was another victory for New York-NL at Huntington Ave Grnds. Now their
winning streak stands at 7 games.
