Sox beat the St. Louis Browns in 12 innings by the score of 5 to 3.

The score was tied at 3 after nine. Chicago came out the victor in the 12th

when he ripped a base-hit. Jimmy Callahan followed next and he ripped a
single, and an error was also committed. Ping Bodie then ripped a base-knock
driving in two more baserunners. St. Louis could do no damage in the bottom
of the 12th.

Baker(2-0) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. The loss was charged

his 11 strikeouts. 'It's tough to generate runs if you can't make contact
with the ball.'
