Frank Foreman pitched a complete game at League Park where the streaking
Cincinnati Reds beat the Boston Beaneaters in 10 innings 4 to 3.

The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings.  Cincinnati ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  Bid McPhee reached on an error.  Two outs
later Tom Loftus came to bat and called for a steal which was successful.
John Reilly then drew a walk.  Lefty Marr came up and he laced a base-hit
making Cincinnati the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration.
Cincinnati rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon.  

Foreman(10-3) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. John Taber(1-2) was
the loser in relief.  He surrendered 1 run and 1 hit in 2/3 of an inning.

Cincinnati remained hot, improving their record to a league leading 35-13.
They now have a record of 9-1 in recent days.  Still in a bad slump, with
this loss, Boston is 2-8 lately and 22-28 on the year.
