Farmer Vaughn touched them all and had 3 RBI and Frank Dwyer pitched a
complete game as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Louisville Colonels 10 to 5
at League Park.

Dwyer(8-6) gave a fine effort for Cincinnati.  He surrendered 10 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings.  This was a game of many highs and lows for the home town
fans, as the lead kept changing - 5 times in all.  

Phil Knell(2-5) was the losing pitcher.  He was hit hard and gave up 15 hits
and 3 walks in 8 innings.
