Harry Eells blanked Detroit allowing just 3 hits at Bennett Park as the
Cleveland Naps beat the Detroit Tigers by the count of 8 to 0.

Eells(3-4) contributed a very nicely pitched game.  He didn't allow much, just
3 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 2.47.  The pitchers took
over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.  

Ed Killian(2-6) took the loss.  He was knocked around by Cleveland, allowing
16 hits and 5 walks in 9 innings.  Cleveland remained hot, improving their
record to 34-19.  They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days.  Still in a
bad slump, with this loss, Detroit is 2-8 lately and 17-37 on the year.
