Ray Collins was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Boston Red Sox defeated the Washington Nationals in 10
innings 5 to 4 at Huntington Ave Grnds.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings.  Boston won the game in
the 10th inning.  After two were out Heinie Wagner drew a walk.  Red Kleinow
came next and he ripped a single.  Bunny Madden then doubled resulting in an
exciting win for Boston and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town
fans.  Boston totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.  

The win went to Collins(7-1) who allowed 4 runs in the game. The losing
pitcher was Dolly Gray(1-5).  He gave up 5 runs and 10 hits in 9 and 2/3
innings.
