Oyster Burns had 3 base hits and Ed Stein tossed a complete game as the
Brooklyn Grooms beat the New York Giants by a score of 11 to 10.

Brooklyn scored the deciding run in the 9th inning.  Tom Kinslow drew a walk.
Stein followed and he reached on an error.  Tom Daly then drew a walk to load
the bases.  Tommy Corcoran stepped in and he hit a sacrifice fly scoring the
run.  Despite scoring in 6 separate innings, New York could not get the win.

The win went to Stein(8-4) who allowed 10 runs in the game. Amos Rusie(11-5)
suffered the loss.  He allowed Brooklyn 11 runs in 9 innings of work.  

The Brooklyn ballclub's record now stands at a league leading 30-16.  New York
has a record of 27-22 after the loss.
