Bob Ewing tossed a complete game and third baseman Joe Kelley hit 3 doubles
and had 3 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds topped the Philadelphia Phillies by a
score of 8 to 3 at Baker Bowl.

Cincinnati won the game with a rally in the top of the 8th inning when they
tallied 5 runs on 5 hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Kelley who
helped quiet the crowd when he doubled plating two runs.  Cincinnati totaled
14 hits on the afternoon.  

Ewing(8-2) allowed 3 runs on the game. The losing pitcher was Libe
