George Davis had 4 hits and 2 RBI at Polo Grounds as the New York Giants beat
the Washington Senators by the count of 10 to 5.

Washington was unable to climb back into it after New York went ahead for good
in the bottom of the 3rd inning scoring a single run.  Harry Davis drew a
walk.  Davis then stole second base.  After an out was recorded, Frank
Connaughton then would ground out scoring the run.  New York had 13 hits for
the afternoon.  

Jouett Meekin(13-3) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 innings and
allowing 5 runs. Silver King(4-1) suffered the loss.  He allowed 13 hits and
3 walks in 8 innings.
