Bill Hoffer was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the New York Giants 12 to 4
at Union Park.

Hoffer(9-4) pitched a fine game.  He was reached for 12 hits and 2 walks in 9
innings.  Baltimore banged out 14 hits on the afternoon.  

Mike Sullivan(1-2) was charged with the loss.  He gave up 12 runs in 8 innings
of work.  Baltimore remained hot, improving their record to a league leading
35-12.  They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days.  New York has a record
of 27-18 after the loss.
