Burdette and the Kansas City Athletics coming out on top of the Pittsburgh

Kansas City scored the only run of the game in the top of the 6th inning. Ken
Boyer doubled. Jimmy Piersall followed and he doubled scoring the run. The
Pittsburgh batters didn't put up a fight in the bottom of the 9th.
Burdette was helped out by Marv Grissom who recorded his 7th save.
