Mike Morrison whitewashed Brooklyn on 1 hit as the Syracuse Stars man-handled
the Brooklyn Gladiators - the final score was 11 to 0.

Morrison(3-4) was virtually untouchable. He was stingy on the mound, allowing
just 1 hit and 3 walks in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 4.57 to 4.04.
Offensively, Syracuse was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.

Mike Mattimore(3-12) ended up with the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 11
hits and 7 walks in 8 innings. 'Morrison took our guys to school' Jim
Kennedy said. 'Too bad he doesn't pitch for us - it would make my job a whole
lot easier!'
