Jim Hughey pitched a complete game at Exposition Park where the Pittsburg
Pirates beat the slumping St. Louis Browns by the score of 7 to 4.

Pittsburg came up with 2 runs in the 4th inning when they came up with 3 base
hits.  They would prove to be the difference in the contest.  Pittsburg
banged out 13 hits on the afternoon.  

Hughey(2-3) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Bill
Hart(3-9) was the loser.  He was knocked around by Pittsburg, allowing 13
hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.
