Silver King pitched a complete game as the phenomenal St. Louis Browns
destroyed the Cleveland Blues by a score of 18 to 8 at League
Park.

King(10-6) delivered a fine performance for St. Louis.  He surrendered 10 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings.  St. Louis kept the scorekeepers busy in the 6th
inning with 4 runs.  The St. Louis offense was as consistent as it was
powerful.  They scored in every inning, making a joke of the Cleveland
pitching.  

Mike Morrison(6-10) suffered the loss.  He was knocked around by St. Louis,
allowing 14 hits and 9 walks in 9 innings.
