Silver King pitched a complete game at South Side Park where the Chicago
Pirates beat the Boston Reds by the score of 12 to 4.

It was a good day for Chicago thanks to Hugh Duffy.  He tripled which brought
home a run in the 3rd inning, slapped a single in the 7th inning and doubled
scoring two baserunners in the 7th inning.  Chicago totaled 11 hits on the
afternoon.  

King(11-8) was the winner allowing 4 runs for the game. Ad Gumbert(4-3) was
the loser.  He was touched for 10 hits and 5 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
