Deacon Phillippe tossed a complete game as the Louisville Colonels outscored
the Washington Senators 8 to 4.

Washington was unable to recover after Louisville went ahead in the 3rd inning
as they scored 2 runs on 2 base hits.  That was all Phillippe(8-6) needed.
Louisville had 11 hits for the afternoon.  

Dan McFarlan(2-9) suffered the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 11 hits and 2
walks in 8 innings.
