Yogi Berra slammed a homerun and had 4 RBI at Forbes Field where the
Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Kansas City Athletics 12 to 4.

Berra enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He ripped a base-knock in the 3rd
inning and lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 5th inning.
Pittsburgh out-hit Kansas City for the game, 19 hits to 7.  

Herb Score(3-5) went 6 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Dick Donovan
preserved the game for Score, recording his his 4th save.  The loss was
charged to Tom Brewer(1-3).  He allowed 11 hits and 2 walks in 4 innings.
