moment was provided by Harry Stovey who deflated the mood of the partisan
fans when he doubled bringing home two baserunners. Philadelphia out-hit
Columbus for the game, 16 hits to 10.

Fred Corey(3-1) allowed 5 runs in 8 innings, and picked up the victory. Ed
Dundon(0-5) was the losing pitcher. He got hit hard, allowing 16 hits and 2
walks in 9 innings.

Knight was in a good mood after the game, 'I'm just seeing and hitting the
ball real well now. I made some adjustments last week and they are paying
off. That's what this game is about. making adjustments as the season goes
along.'
