Bill Bradley had 3 base hits and Bob Rhoads was able to finish what he started
and was credited with a complete game at League Park as the Cleveland Naps
beat the Chicago White Sox 4 to 2.

Rhoads(5-3) earned his pay with a solid performance for Cleveland. He went 9
innings allowing 6 hits and 6 walks. Cleveland totaled 7 hits on the
afternoon.

The losing pitcher was Ed Walsh(9-7). It was a tough loss for him as he did
not allow an earned run in his 6 innings of work.

'I always am most impressed when a pitcher finds a way to win even without his
best stuff,' Nap Lajoie said after the game. 'Rhoads did not have command of
his pitches most of the afternoon, but he proved he really knew how to
pitch!'
