WEB GEMS- Bot 8th: Al Shaw robbed Harvey Russell of an extra base hit.

Jack Quinn allowed Otto Knabe to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as
the smoking-hot Baltimore Terrapins bested the reeling Brooklyn ballclub 6 to
2 at Terrapin Park.

Baltimore had the game winning rally in the 8th inning when they scored 5 runs
on 5 hits. The key at-bat was by Knabe who electrified Terrapin Park when he
doubled bringing in two baserunners. Baltimore and Brooklyn each finished
the afternoon with 7 hits.

Quinn(10-5) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Herold Juul(1-3)
took the loss. He pitched 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 4 walks.

In another of a string of victories, Baltimore extended their winning streak
to 7 games.
