Tony Mullane tossed a complete game shutout and Bug Holliday had 4 hits and 2
RBI as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Cleveland Spiders by the score of 6
to 0 at League Park.

Mullane(9-10) looked very much in control throughout the day.  He allowed only
6 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.62 to 3.41.
Cincinnati rapped out 13 hits for the afternoon.  

Henry Gruber(6-10) suffered the loss.  He gave up 6 runs and 13 hits in 8
