Second baseman Terry Turner had 2 base hits at Sportsman'S Park as the
Cleveland Naps beat the St. Louis Browns in 13 innings 2 to 0.

The score was knotted at zero after nine innings. Cleveland came out the

Hinchman then delivered a base-hit scoring a run. Harry Bemis followed and
he ripped a one-base hit scoring the final run of the inning. Although they
lost, St. Louis did out-hit Cleveland 12 to 9.

The win went to Heinie Berger(9-5) who allowed no runs in 12 and 2/3 innings.
Berger got help from Cy Falkenberg who earned his 1st save. Jack Powell(6-6)
took the loss. He surrendered 9 hits and 4 walks in 13 innings.

'I struggled a bit out there today,' Berger said, 'but I toughed it out and we
got the win.'
