Nig Cuppy tossed a complete game and Jack O'Connor slammed a homerun and had 3
RBI at League Park where the Cleveland Spiders beat the Washington Senators
by the score of 12 to 10.

Cleveland had 6 runs cross the plate in the 7th inning when they came up with
6 base hits.  They would hold up as the winning runs.  Cleveland banged out
16 hits on the afternoon.  

The victory went to Cuppy(7-3) who went the distance allowing 10 runs. Duke
Esper(3-9) was given the loss.  He gave up 12 runs in 8 innings and saw his
ERA jump from 3.19 to 3.46.  

'I had a little blister on my index finger before the game, but I thought it
was nothing.' Cuppy said.  'I was lucky I got a win because I couldn't put
the ball where I wanted it.'
