Charlie Abbey smacked 2 triples and had 3 RBI at League Park where the
Washington Senators beat the Cincinnati Reds 11 to 6.

Cincinnati never recovered after Washington took the lead in the 4th inning as
they scored 4 runs on 5 base hits.  Even though they scored in 5 different
innings, Cincinnati was not able to pull off the win.  

The win went to Al Maul(5-4) who allowed 6 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Ice Box
Chamberlain(7-5) took the loss.  He allowed 17 hits and 4 walks in 9 innings.
