Jack Chesbro had an impressive outing as the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the St.
Louis-AL Browns by a score of 3 to 0.

Chesbro(10-4) was simply too much for the St. Louis-AL batters. He allowed
only 5 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Both teams' bats went to sleep after
the 4th inning with no runs scored after that point.

Ed Reulbach(5-6) took the loss. 'Chesbro was the man today,' Mike Etters
said. 'He had just about every pitch working.'
