It was a real barn-burner day in Fenway Park as Cincinnati Reds finally pulled
ahead to stay, winning a very exciting game by a Cincinnati Reds to 10
score.

Cincinnati tallied 5 runs in the top of the 4th inning with the help of 4
hits. The big moment was provided by Dick Sisler who helped quiet the crowd
when he belted a three-run homer. Even though they scored in 5 different
innings, Boston-AL was not able to pull off the win.

Jim Hearn(4-4) went 5 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Hearn got help from
Al Corwin who earned his 1st save. Sandy Consuegra(2-5) took the loss. He
was touched for 3 homeruns in his 4 innings of work.
