Left fielder Tip O'Neill had 3 base hits and 3 RBI and Silver King pitched a
complete game as the St. Louis Browns destroyed the Louisville Colonels by a
score of 11 to 1 at Sportsman's Park.

King(11-6) was solid in the win.  He allowed just 7 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings.  St. Louis provided plenty of action in the 6th inning which saw
them plate 5 runs on 5 hits.  St. Louis banged out 20 hits on the afternoon.

The losing pitcher was Guy Hecker(5-7).  St. Louis knocked him around a bit,
as he gave up 11 runs in 8 innings.
