Carr had a big day at the plate. He doubled which was good for two runs in the 1st inning, ripped a single plating two runs in the 2nd inning, singled which brought home a run in the 3rd inning and lined a one-base hit in the 8th inning. Detroit had 17 hits for the afternoon. The win went to Mullin(8-6) who allowed 1 run in the game. The losing pitcher was Casey Patten(3-13).
